Crossing over US-75 (Pennsylvania Avenue) in the town of Independence is this large deck girder bridge.
Built in 1908, the bridge consists of a main deck girder span, as well as two smaller deck girders approaching it.
Utilizing steel towers to support the span, the bridge also rests on concrete substructures.
Overall, the bridge remains in good condition. Little deterioration was noted on the spans.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
